Virtual Zone Horses is a young company founded in 2004 by Peter de Boer
and Jan-Bas de Jonge. In the past years a big amount of horses passed at
our stables. We concentrate on training at different levels, educating,
sales and guidance and competing dressage horses. We also train and
guide riders with their own horse. Peter is responsible for training
horses and riders, while Jan-Bas concentrates on taking care of the
horses and the accomodation. In the short period of time Virtual Zone
Horses excists we have already achieved some fine results!
After a long period of not riding any competions at all, Peter started competing Unexpected VZH at novice level (Dutch B level)
in 2006. Eversince that day it went fast. Very fast! The 5-year-old small mare (standing at 1.63m) knew to convince time after
time! In January 2007 this combination already competed at Z1 level. At the end of 2006 Peter also started to compete Cicero at
L2 level. By obtaining the maximum amount of competition points in one test, 3 times in a row, the successes kept coming at
high speed. In the summer of 2007 the party just started, with no less than 6 horses succesfully competing at Z1 level.
Unfortunately the horses all got sold too quickly (within a few weeks time) so Peter didn’t get the chance to get them
competing at Z2 level. In 2007 Peter also managed to obtain de 2nd place with Undercover VZH at the Sports Horses Gala for
6-year-old horses.
In 2008 it finaly happenened: the first Z2 level test with Undercover VZH with a brilliant result and 2 competition points!
In the summer of 2008 Peter succesfully competed 5 more horses at Z2 level. Most striking results were obtained by Popeye VZH
who won 15 competition points at only 6 shows. Unfortunately Peter did not get the chance to compete him at ZZL level. This will
become Temptation VZH’s duty for spring 2009. Another exceptional horse was Zero Sugar VZH, who gained 15 competition points
at L1 level in her 4 first shows!
Not only our own horses, but also the horses we sold have achieved some remarkable results:
Winner : Winner and his youghtful rider got selected in 2007 and 2008 for the Style riding competition at the Flanders
Christmas Horse Showin Mechelen Belgium! They also successfully competed at several young horses competitions.
Mr Big VZH : This new combination obtained a score of more than 60% at their very first dressage show at Intermediare I level!
Floyd : Achieved to become regional champion junior riders in Poland at 3th level with his only 14-year-old rider!
Rhylene : Rhylaine and her 16-year-old rider already obtained percentages above 65% at Prix St. George level!
Andorra : Only broken in 3 months ago and her rider Maartje rode Andorra straight to first position at her very first
dressage show. The were 3rd at the allround champion class!
Tumero : Succesfully competed at Young Riders level in jumping!
Abbigail : Easily won the 1.40m level jumping in France!
Arlette : Small but brave, she managed to win 9th price at the VWF Prinsenstad competition. She had a score of
37,5 points at the VSN competition, so she got selected for the finals.
Where Ar You Go VZH : Became 3rd at the national mare selection BWP in Belgium.
